This story about a dog who risked its life for its owner. The owner callapsed on a train track I believe and the dog dragged her off. The dog had to have 2 legs amputated but the owner left with just minor scrapes and bruises.

Wow, this is a good one. I think the story of the girl in Japan who developed Leukemia from radiation growing up after the atomic bomb dropping in Hiroshima. According to legend, folding a thousand cranes makes your wish come true. She did just that and she was cure of Leukemia in the hospital.
