We've got another NYC Quick Flick for you! The second release in the summer horror film series hosted by BloodyDisgusting.com & AMC Theatres, Cinemit has 'Wild Card' passes to YellowBrickRoad, in AMC Theatres now.
YellowBrickRoad is the scary tale of what happened to the town of Friar, NH in 1940 when the entire population abandoned their homes and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Over 70 years later a team of researchers finds the trail and begins looking into what happened. Wow - sounds scary right?!? It's cast includes Cassidy Freeman (Smallvile), Anessa Ramsey (The Signal), and Lee Wilkof (Before The Devil Knows You're Dead).
YellowBrickRoad will be playing on Wednesdays at 10:00 PM and Fridays at midnight throughout June AMC Theatres. Buy tickets to a showing at your local AMC Theatre here.
Ten (10) lucky winners (and one guest for each) will win passes to see YellowBrickRoad at AMC Empire 25 in New York City!

Can Last House on the Left be considered as a movie with a disappearance? I mean she did come back and all... Well if not I love Taken! Liam is awesome!
I agree with the earlier replies too, but just to add another movie to the pot, I really enjoyed "HANNA" that was just released in April! Erik (Eric Bana) had "disappeared" along with daughter and they finally resurfaced years later, once he trained her well enough for her to survive on her own.
I loved taken, his daughter was taken while on the phone with him, that's some scary stuff
Come on ... has to be the original blurry shakycam genre starter, Blair witch project!
