"Yes, swimming off a boat when a sudden storm came up and I was swept away by a surge; my partner, on the boat, couldn't hear me yelling for help, he was dozing. By the time he woke up we were more than 1/2 mile apart. Swimming was fruitless so I tread water until he noticed the storm, panicked, and jumped in to swim to me...that when I was really frightened! The boat was not anchored and was moving the other way...he realized it in moments, got back to the boat, and came to my rescue."

"Oh my God yes! When I was dating this guy, we stopped at the stop light. Next thing you know, we were surrounded by cops. They were yelling and had guns aiming at us saying GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW! I was so scared that my body couldn't move. The lady cop jerked me out of he car and onto the ground with her knees in my back. I was so scared, I could hardly breathe. I thought my life was over. I was so scared, I didn't see anything around me but the guns that were aiming at me. After all that, the cops said that it was mistaken identity. No apology or anything. Now that I'm driving, I still get shaken up when sirens."

"I forgot about the time my ex girlfriend, pregnant with my child, said she wasn't feeling too hot. I didn't really think nothing of it until her pants quickly started turning a bright crimson red. I was so scared on the way to the hospital,I ran lights, almost had several accidents....all to no avail. She had already miscarried. One of the scariest moments of my young adult life & it's also one of my most depressing periods. It took a while for me to get over it."

"I was internally bleeding once and I almost died. I was scared for my life but I was in shock so I didn't really feel it... I just saw the fear in my loved ones eyes."

"I've never been more afraid then being locked in the walk-in deep freezer. It took my coworker 3 hours to find me and I nearly died. The doctors in the ER said it was a good thing I had on a coat, but I truly believed I would have died if no one came to my rescue."

"It was during the summer of 2003. I was 15 years old and at home by myself. I woke up from the doorbell ringing non stop, so I check the time and it was 9:30 am. This is way to early for a teenager during the summer, so I was pretty upset. I storm down the stairs and check through the peep hole in the front door, but saw no one there. I called my father to ask if he was expecting anyone in which he responded that he wasn't. While on the phone with him I heard a noise in the backyard so I went to the other side of the house to check it out. At that moment I saw two males hovering by the window and trying to yank it open with a crowbar. Right then and there my adrenaline kicked in and I warned my father of what was happening. I called the cops with my cell phone and ran up the stairs to grab a bat I had in my closet. I then came back downstairs and watched as they went from window to window trying to get in. Apparently they became frustrated and broke my kitchen window, but the moment they were about to climb in the cops came storming through my backyard and arrested them. Scariest moment of my life."

Yes. I was walking from the store one evening when I was approached by a gunmen. I proceeded to run and he shot at me. I fell and thought he was going to catch up and shoot me dead.
Yes, a mouse jumped on me at the movies and thought I was going to die. I jumped out of my seat and ran out of the movie and never went back. (that theater is now closed down)
