I'd take all the "couples savings" money I'd stored up and take a cruise somewhere! Nothing screams making the best out of something like cruising and seeing other cultures!
go on vacation with my best girlfriends and go wild
Hang out with friends and family to remind me of what's important in life.
Travel and party!! Keep yourself occupied, enjoy life and new beginnings!!
I would go out and party like there was no tomorrow. Sometimes after someting like that. You need to go out and have fun and enjoy life. Thats what I would do.
house cleaning and make room for new things
I would travel to places where I couldnt go with the guy that I just left .. I would also do activities such as skydiving and bungee jumping.. these things i couldnt do before cause the gu would be terrifed of it . .and enjoy this life like never before becuase you only live once.. you live and learn
I would do all of the things that I wanted to do, and he didn't want me/us to do while we were together.
Go to New York. New hair style, new clothes, new look, and lots of guys.

Okay here it goes. Been there and done that. I had to learn to know me all over again. It's a new journey that truthfully I am thankful for, because weather you believe it or not you do lose yourself in your partner's world and in your childrens world (family). You shouldn't have to wait till your kids go to college to run naked around your own home, with or without your spouse. "Make me happy first then I can help you".
I would make the best of suddenly being single by taking a solo trip around the world with nothing more than a back pack and a toothbrush.
Relax with no worries!!!
Do things totally for myself...join the gym, take some classes, read more books, get my name engraved on the remote control

I have been suddenly single with two young children. I contacted old friends and family and went on with my life including going back to school for further educational certification. Met and married a wonderful new man.
