MyFrenchFilmFestival is back for its third year, from January 17 through February 17, 2013!

In the past few years, some of my favorite films have been French Cinema. Highlights include Romantics Anonymous (my review, available on Netflix Instant and free on Amazon Prime), Belle Épine, and Copacabana. I look forward to seeing what's coming this year!

Once again this year, you will be able to vote for your favorite film among the 10 feature films and 10 short films selected in competition. In addition to these films, the festival will also showcase two Canadian films (a short film and a feature) and a French cinema classic, Crooks in Clover.

As well as introducing fans to new films -- 10 features and 10 shorts are included this year -- MY FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL is also a competition, where viewers help pick the winning films; there are four awards. And, for every film watched, viewers are entered into a contest for a chance to win great prizes for themselves, including a trip to Paris. From the comfort of your home, you can visit France via the films and, better yet, win a chance to actually go there!

MyFrenchFilmFestival has expanded this year to include a fourth award: the Jury Prize. Led by Michel Hazanavicius, this jury composed of directors from the four corners of the globe will honor one of the feature films in competition. The famed American journalist and blogger Nikki Finke from the website Deadline.com will also do us the honor of presiding over the jury of the Social Networks Prize.

In the lead-up to January 17, you can access a detailed presentation of the festival, its line-up, program, juries, and photos by downloading the catalogue here.

Sit back and enjoy the interviews with actors and directors from the films selected, film trailers and the festival trailer!
