Below are some clips from the press conference for Django Unchained with writer/director Quentin Tarantino

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award®-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award®-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive.

Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.

SDCC ’12: ‘The Expendables 2′ Panel – Arnold hints at Twins Sequel
The final Panel of the day Thursday was one of my most anticipated panels, The Expendables 2. From what I heard about the panel for the first one, I knew we were in for a treat with all these action stars on one stage. Unfortunately, not everyone showed up for the panel this year and the major let down was NO CHUCK NORRIS! I was devastated however the panel was extremely enjoyable and very entertaining.

SDCC ’12: ‘Resident Evil Retribution’ Panel
Resident Evil is one of the more criticized franchises currently out there, however, I am a fan of the films and the Resident Evil Retribution panel was a nice little treat for myself and a half full Hall H.

SDCC’12: ‘Elysium’ Panel – Neill Blomkamp’s return to Comic-Con
Let me just start off by syaing this is going to be a very short post and will mainly consist of Quint’s from Aint it Cool News, trailer breakdown for Neill Blomkamp’s, Elysium.

SDCC ’12: ‘Looper’ Panel – No Bruce Willis but Still Kick Ass
Besides the typical WB/Legendary and Iron Man 3 Panel, I have to say I was very anxious to see what was in store for Looper because, lets face it, the film looks bad ass.

SDCC’12: Django Unchained Panel – A Journey into Tarantino’s Mind
Attending the panel were Kerry Washington, Jamie Foxx, Don Johnson, Quentin Tarantino, Christoph Waltz, and Walton Goggins . Unfortunately neither Samuel L. Jackson nor Leonardo DiCaprio were in attendance, but that was to be expected (Maybe Sam will be here for Marvel?).

SDCC’12: ‘Pacific Rim’ and ‘Godzilla’ Panel and Guillermo Del Toro Crapping his Pants
So you might be wondering what is up with the title, well those were the first words out of Guillermo Del Toro‘s mouth along with some other non-family friendly words. If that doesn’t get you fired up you should see this place! Anyways lets get to the stuff you want to read, it’s Pacific Rim time!
